A Peek at Our Week

Reading: Reader’s Workshop This week we're learning about different components of the workshop such as a read-aloud, independent reading, and shared reading. We also learned strategies that good readers use before, during, and after reading.

Writing: Writer’s Workshop This week we discovered that we all have stories to tell. In their writing binders students have completed several story boards and have even written the first paragraph of a narrative piece!

Math: Time to the Hour & Half-hour Students learned that an analog clock has hour and minute hands, while a digital clock only has numbers. Students have mastered telling time to the hour and are working on telling time to the hour.
